Quirindi High School (QHS) is a rural school located in Quirindi on the Liverpool Plains. We are located on the lands of the Kamilaroi people. Our school is approximately 400 students. QHS has 4 support classes. We run a variety of programs aimed at helping students attain their post school goals, be this university, apprenticeships, traineeships or work. QHS values its connections with our Kamilaroi lands and the Kamilaroi people. Cultural safety within our school is vital. Through our ACLO, we have excellent connections with local Aboriginal organisations and local people. As a school, we run significant cultural, sporting and educational programs. There is a focus for students who wish it on agriculture. We also have significant links with philanthropic organisations who support our students generously. As a school, we pride ourselves on providing multiple opportunities for students. We aim to remain the school of choice for our local community. We create our school around the students.
