International Games Week

LEARNING AND FUN
The QHS library is a place of learning and of fun, where students are encouraged to embrace all the possibilities the leading-edge resources offer – including enjoying games.

On Wednesday (yesterday) and Friday (tomorrow) the QHS Library is celebrated/ing International Games Week -  an annual celebration of games, play, libraries, and learning.

Card games, board games, online games - every type of game is covered - there is even a gaming themed movie – ‘Wreck It Ralph’  is showing during the celebrations to raise awareness of the social and educational benefits of positive play.

Studies show students learn life skills they through play, skills such as: problem solving and cause + effect, play increases brain flexibility and improved potential for learning in later life.
