Quirindi Rotary Club ran their popular Public Speaking event last night at the Quirindi RSL Club.
QHS students: Liam Durie, Keenan Davis, Molly Owen and Ella Worley participated in the Rotary Public Speaking Competition.
Keenan spoke on - Men's Mental Health
Liam spoke on - Electric Cars
Molly spoke on - Catfishing - online predators
Ella spoke on - Growing up Country - Country vs City
Robert Lewis from Quirindi Rotary Club and QHS Year 12 Student, James Redgrove, adjudicated the competition. Rob commended the students on their public speaking skills.
Molly Owen was selected as the overall winner, with Keenan, Liam and Ella all being awarded Highly Commended.
The students all entertained the Rotary Club members with the diversity of their topics and were a credit to QHS and their families.
The next round of the competition will be held in February 2022.
