In Term 3 of this year, QHS students in Mr Roberts Year 12 Chemistry class joined over 95,000 students from over 20 countries when they participated in the Royal Australian Chemical Institute's International Chemistry Quiz.
The results have just been released, and Quirindi High School students achieved two ‘High Distinctions’ and one ‘Distinction’.
This outstanding result placed Quirindi High School around the top ten percent Australia-wide.
Well done to Thomas Boorer - ‘Distinction’. Mark Batterham - ‘High Distinction' and James Redgrove - ‘High Distinction'.
Students tested their Chemistry knowledge and had fun at the same time, with the quiz, that consisted of 30 multiple choice questions, answered in 60 minutes.
OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT students and thank you to Mr Roberts for offering our students this opportunity.
