The Bunsen burner is a very useful tool, used extensively in the world of science.  It can also be very dangerous if not used properly.

QHS Year 7 students recently undertook their Bunsen Burner Licence, where they demonstrated that they can use the equipment responsibly.

All students had to complete a theory and practical test, including they had to identify and name the parts of a Bunsen burner, set it up correctly and adjust the flame appropriately to use the Bunsen burner safely,
