With more than a million students set to undertake the NAPLAN tests between now and the end of May, QHS students have undergone a big week of both NAPLAN and HSC Minimum Standards exams this week.
QHS students and teachers are looking forward to the results - that will indicate future educational focus areas for students and enable QHS to continue to offer bespoke learning opportunities.
Coordinator Miss McInnes is very thankful for everyone’s cooperation in this process that offers insight into student capabilities in Years 7 and 9 (NAPLAN) and provides year 10 students with the next step in completion of the HSC (HSC Minimum Standards).
“Thank you to students for their focus and dedication to both their NAPLAN and HSC Minimum Standard exams this week. Thank you also to QHS teachers who have assisted in supervision, room changes and general duties this week.”
QHS has seen over 200 students undertake exams this week.
NAPLAN results will be released later in the year.
HSC Minimum Standards – if students are unsuccessful in this area, QHS offer multiple attempts this year, with students supported in achieving this requirement.
NAPLAN Reading and Numeracy results are already available for students, please see Ms McInnes for the results – Writing results will take around 2 weeks to come through.
QHS are looking forward to the return to the normal classroom routines next week.
