NATIONAL YOUTH SCIENCE FORUM

school

Rob Lewis from Quirindi Rotary Club, called in to talk to students entering the national Youth Science Forum at QHS this week,

Samiksha Madan pictured with Mr Lewis and Mrs Evans and Felix Walker-Sangster (absent from pic) are busy preparing for the intake interviews. The National Youth Science Forum, running since 1984 is a not-for-profit organisation that runs a number of programs to encourage young people in their passion for science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).

Their programs show the wide variety of engaging, rewarding and inspiring study and career options available in STEM fields.

Rotary is the Founding Partner of NYSF and today the 18 local Rotary districts across Australia continue to conduct selections for the NYSF Year 12 Program on behalf of the NYSF.

Thank you, Mr Lewis and Mrs Evans, for supporting our students with this opportunity to further embrace their passion for STEM.
