AGRICULTURAL EXPERTISE

A strong contingent of QHS Year 8 Agriculture Elective students today achieved their Tractor Licence.

The students, under instruction of QHS Teacher, Mr Maxwell have undertaken a series of theory and practical lessons to achieve their credentials.

QHS Teacher, Mr Maxwell, who also lives on and operates a stud cattle property said the students were fully engaged and look forward to studying Agriculture in 2021 at QHS.

“The students are really keen to enrol in Agriculture for Year 9. It’s a great cohort, who are looking forward to learning more about the QHS Cattle Club and other areas of expertise offered through the Agricultural Farm at our school,” said Mr Maxwell, who added… “QHS offers learning and skills of all levels in Agriculture.  Educating a range of students, including those who are not from farms, all the way through to those who assist their families run and operate their own properties,” concluded Mr Maxwell.
