QHS WINS AT NETBALL

Both QHS Netball teams (Under 15's and Opens) played against Gunnedah for the CHS competition on the new town courts in Quirindi today.

Both QHS teams proved strong on the court and took the win.

QHS Opens team took the win 39 to 35 in a hard-fought match.

Under 15’s were successful with a 50 to 22 win – playing the last two quarters in the rain – QHS last win in that age group was against Walgett high school in 2016.

Mrs Batho and Miss Eykamp were kept busy coaching and supporting students and were delighted with the student outcomes.

Students included: Jaime-Lee Bellamy, Bella McCarthy, Olivia Cowan, Molly Elford, Evie Gimbert, Heidi Lamb, Olivia Leonard, Holly Martin, Katie Martin, Bronte Matthews, Rubee Moore, Molly Owen, Paige Sevil, Grace Sevil, Scarlett Slade and Jade Wilson.
