WORLD'S FUNNIEST SHAVE - $3700.00
To end today's Term 1 Assembly the SRC Fundraiser team undertook their promise for "The World's Greatest Shave."
With a delighted Lilly Nicholls winning the raffle to shave - her twin brother - Angus Nicholls' head the event proved as hilarious as it was beneficial.
The QHS SRC team raising - from raffle sales, school Social profits and online sponsorship fundraising - a staggering $3700.00 - by end of school today - to go towards funding the fight against Leukaemia!
Students who had their head shaved included: Angus Nicholls, Alex Baker, Sam Palmer, Casey Clarke, Hudson Shaw, Jock Barnett, Lachie Bradfield, Riley Medway, Beau Mulholland and teacher, Mr Owen, fellow SRC Coordinator, Mrs Owen had her hair coloured for the event.
Thank you to all the participants, organisers of today’s event and to our volunteer hairdressers Cheryl Bray and Jodie Gamble from Country Classics Salon for their time today.
