GARDEN PARTY CELEBRATION

party

Quirindi High School, 2020 Year 12 students and their partners celebrated the completion of their schooling at an elegant Garden Party event in the school grounds.

Student, Jackson Worley played the cello as guests arrived. Musician and vocalist, James Craswell performed throughout the evening, setting a relaxed scene.

The School canteen provided delicious meal boxes and teacher, Lindi Owen provided the celebratory cupcakes.

Year 12 Year Adviser, Leanne Cooper gave a celebratory speech amongst the ambience of the evening, as did Principal, Ian Worley.

“You have now graduated, signed out and are starting to make your way into the outside world. Since the last time I stood in front of you giving a speech you have prepared for and sat your HSC exams,” said Leanne Cooper, who added… “You have achieved something very special – you have completed your secondary schooling. You set yourself a goal and have seen it through to the end. Now we get to celebrate that achievement.”

Due to the COVID restrictions, Quirindi High School had to be creative and the lovely weather, sparkly lights and good company provided a sensational evening of celebration in the school grounds.

“We are able to be together, to invite some special guests to help celebrate and mark the end of your schooling in style. Enjoy a picnic, have a cupcake and groove to some music. Just keep your distance if you get the urge to dance,” added Miss Cooper.

A number of people worked very hard to put this event together.

“I’d like to thank Mr Worley and Ms Loughrey for green lighting our gathering, our media team, Sally Alden and Lauren Maybury for putting all this together, also Lauren Maybury for co-ordinating the event and Sally Alden Photography for the photos, Jackson Worley and James Craswell for the music, Kathy Crouch, Renee Chappell and Megan Medway our lovely meal and Lindi Owen for the delicious cupcakes.”

“Enjoy the evening, the atmosphere and the music. Year 12, you made it! Now, sit back, relax and soak it in.”

Thank you to our incoming 2021 Captains, James Redgrove, Millie Slade, Sam Fechner and Isabelle Davis  for assisting at the event.

Congratulations to all students and to their parents and carers for attending. Thank you to ‘Em and Em Events’ and A1 Hire for your creativity and support of this event.
