QHS Aboriginal students met recently with staff to discuss and set their Personalised Learning Plans, this week.
Students set their goals for future success with the helping hand of staff who know them best, MegO, Clontarf, Mr Beresford, Mrs Craswell and Miss McInnes.
Each student attended a meeting with the teams and designed individual goals to cater for themselves and their own life directions.
“Students arrived prepared and students as young as 11 are looking at the career path already,” said QHS Aboriginal Community Liaison Officer, MegO.
“Our teacher teams were extremely impressed with the dedication our students showed and more impressed that students felt at ease describing their dream jobs, academic goals and passions.”
“Setting goals is the foundation to achieving beyond your limits,” concluded MegO.
Students gaols included everything from small business owners, to university degrees and careers in aeronautics, health and education, mechanical engineers, midwifery, authors, a deep-sea fishing tour captain, a professional youtuber, builders, an astronomer, professional athletes and more!
