Ensuring our students have access to the best learning opportunities for their future pathways QHS hosted Mrs Naomi White from Dubbo school of Distance Education to work alongside HSC Student Grace Sevil.
Grace studies HSC Food Technology via Dubbo Distance Ed so it was a great opportunity for the two to create in person.
Both student and teacher enjoyed the collaboration to cover food product development and working with Indigenous Dreamtime Tuka products.
The brief was to create food products suitable to be served on QANTAS flights. The talented student modified existing recipes to meet the brief through using the Indigenous products and made Rosella Jam Drops and Lemon Myrtle Anzac Biscuits.
