2022 CAPTAIN'S NOMINATIONS

school

Nominations are now open for Captains and Vice Captains for 2022.

Current Year 11 Students met with SRC Coordinators, Mr and Mrs Owen in the QHS Library today, where they were all given a two-page document outlining the Job Description for the role, the timeline for elections and a nomination form.

If a students nomination is accepted, they will attend an interview with the Principal.  Each nominee will also be asked to address an assembly prior to the election.

Students need to carefully consider the job description, complete all the requirements of the application and all nominations are to be given to Mrs Owen by COB Monday 2 August 2021.

* Meet regularly with the Principal.

* Represent students’ ideas to the Principal.

* Represent the school in community events during school time, after school and on weekends.

* Be present at school a minimum of 95% of the time.

* Be punctual to school and to all lessons.

* Be involved in school activities and encourage others to participate.

* Represent the school at official functions – for example ANZAC Day, Blacktown Weekend, Remembrance Day, and other functions as they arise. This can often be at short notice, so students need to be prepared to attend these functions as part of your role.
