Year 12 2022, what a fabulous event to celebrate you all - looking fantastic, surrounded by family and friends in the stunning grounds of the Willow Tree Inn.
Thank you Sarah Bain for providing the live music and to Felicity Clark for the delicious celebratory cake and cupcakes + Brooke Stevenson for the amazing floral art - We are so fortunate to have tremendous local businesses and talent.
After a warm welcome by Year 12 Advisor, Mr Field - Ella Worley offered the 'Acknowledgement of Country' and students and their partners were announced.
Followed by the presentation of the special awards, music and canapés, a speech by Principal, Worley and 2023 QHS Captains, cutting of the cake, group photos and 2022 Captains 'Toast to the Parents'.
It was terrific to have QHS teachers and the QHS P&C representatives in attendance and to see everyone have a great time on the dance floor after the official proceedings.
Congratulations students, it was a truly elegant and special evening organised by Mrs Maybury and enjoyed by all.

Not only did Year 12 celebrate their achievements at a wonderful formal event last night, they also announced they have established the: "Year 12 2022 Scholarship'.
Year 12 Advisor Mr Field explained, the 2022 Year 12 cohort fundraised $1,000.00 for the 2023 Year 12 students to nominate a recipient commencing their HSC in 2024.
"This is a legacy scholarship established by my year group to benefit students in future years, and is up to the following year group to raise funds for the following year and continue the scholarship," said Mr Field, who added he was proud of his group for organising such a significant gift for future students.
