OPEN BASKETBALL

Both the Open Girls and the Open Boys team had resounding wins against Inverell today.

Open Girls team won 50-12 comprising: Bella McCarthy, Emily Daw, Lily Owen, Jess Farr, Bridie Douglas, Erica Bizant, Jamiah Hunt, Indiah Nean, Miley Clark and Jaime-lee Bellamy.

Open Boys won 66-29 comprising: Tom Parsons, Lucas Percy, Zac Slade, Morgan Green, Keenan Davis and Liam Durie.

Big effort to both teams on a big day of travel and team work on the court, continuing the strong tradition of strength in the QHS Basketball teams.

Thank you to Coach and QHS Teacher Mr Beresford for the focus, support and drive your skills provide to our students and a big thank you to QHs Teacher, Mr Chambers, whose knowledge of and passion for sports and for QHS continue to inspire our staff and students.
