GENEROUS DONATION
Davin Goodwin, Merchandise Manager from Pursehouse Rural and Bree Gowland, Financial Controller for Agracom visited QHS today to deliver a significant cheque towards the 2019 Presentation Day.
Funds from the cheque will assist in the end of year 2019 Presentation Day Assembly at the school.
QHS Captains Angus Nicholls and Bridget Swain and Vice Captains Josie Saunders and Josh Redgrove, accepted the cheque on behalf of the school.
“We are very appreciative of the donation to assist the school. Funds from this donation will be used to purchase ‘Shop Locally Vouchers’ - that will be given to acknowledge student achievements on the day,” said Bridgett.
Davin Goodwin, took a moment to thank those groups and businesses that had contributed… “I would like to thank our suppliers and our clients as it was their contribution on our fundraising Golf Day that enabled us fund and give back to our communities.”
Bree Gowland, added it is positive to be able to give to the QHS – with this, just one cheque the organisations have been donating across the region.
“We are delighted to give back to region that gives so much to our businesses and to assist in the development of youth, now and into the future We are happy that QHS will be giving back to the community through the ‘Shop Locally Vouchers’.”
